Selby Abbey

At the Heart of the Community Since 1069

Children & Family

Children and Young People are always welcome to join in with any of our services and activities in the Abbey, although some are organised particularly with children and young people in mind, including those mentioned in this leaflet.

In addition, a ‘Sunday School’ takes place in the St Nicholas room on Sundays during the 10am service for children of school age and accompanied pre-school children. Ask one of the ‘Welcomers’ by the door if you are interested.
