James Dhonau, the tenor choral scholar here at Selby Abbey, is delighted to be bringing you this recital of comic, tragic, and sentimental songs from Opera, Musical Theatre, and German Lieder. A lifelong lover of music and drama, James has a passion for conveying emotion and bringing characters to life through his singing.
Having completed his music degree at the University of York, James has aspirations towards a career as a professional opera singer, hoping to pursue master’s level study at a Conservatoire over the coming years.
